Meet our instructor
Derek Greenaway founded Range of Knowledge, LLC in 2025. Derek worked as an Engineer for several Ultrasound companies throughout his career, and he was the co-founder of TransducerWorks in 2007, which was an Ultrasound Product Development Company. His role as an Engineer & Manager shows he’s process and results driven with intention and method behind everything he does. Derek has been an avid outdoors enthusiast his entire life. He enjoyed hunting and shooting with family and friends, which led him to competitive shooting. Competitive shooting went from a hobby to being a serious competitor. Derek competed in NRA Rifle Silhouette disciplines, including air-rifle, smallbore, high power and cowboy. After continued success Derek was sponsored by Sierra Bullets and went on to win 7 NRA National Championships. He also set 14 NRA National Records and achieved 8 NRA Grand Slams in Rifle Silhouette. He’s always had interest sharing his knowledge and experience and giving back to those who want to learn more.
